There's plenty of great climbing in the area, with a large proportion of the crags facing south. With a mixture of road-side crags, and remote hidden gems, there's something for everyone. Gimmer Crag, Ravens Crags, Kettle Crag are right on the doorstep, and there are a couple of pubs a short cycle away!

For walkers, there's Scafell Pike, Bowfell to name a couple of nearby peaks.
